Dr.Louie Al-Faraje finished his post doctoral studies at Loma Linda University (Loma Linda, California). He has an extensive education and experience in implant dentistry (having placed more than 3000 implants).
He published few articles related to implant dentistry (most recent article by Dr. Faraje).
He was appointed in October 1997 by IBAH Inc. as a principle investigator for new dental local anesthetic for the U.S. market. He established his private practice in San Diego, where he provides both advanced surgical and prosthetic phases of implant dentistry for his patients.
 
He lectures frequently on implant-related topics. Dr.Al-Faraje is a california dental board registered continuing education provider.
He is the founder of California Implant Institute.

James L. Rutkowski, DMD, PhD

Dr. James L. Rutkowski earned his dental degree at University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1976. He is currently President of the Clarion Research Group and the American Board of Oral Implantology / Implant Dentistry. He is a clinical instructor for the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Publications include textbook author “Chapter 23: Pharmacology for Implant Dentistry” Fonseca’s Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery 2nd Edition. Elsevier Inc. Lecture topics include head and neck anatomy and pharmacolog
 
 


Suheil M. Boutros, DDS, MS

Dr. Boutros received his DDS degree from the University of Detroit Mercy and his Master’s degree and certificate in periodontics from the University of Minnesota.  He has been in full time private practice limited to periodontics and dental implants since 1995. He maintains active dental licenses in Michigan, California and Arizona. Currently, he is the director of Periodontal Specialists of Grand Blanc and Clarkston in Michigan.
He is also on the Dean’s Faculty as an Assistant Professor, Department of Periodontics at the University of Michigan. Dr. Boutros lectures nationally and internationally on periodontal plastic surgery, regeneration and dental implants. He is on the editorial council for “Implants” the international magazine of oral implants where he has published numerous articles.  He is honored to be part of the credentialing and examining committee of the German Board of Oral Implants.
 
Dr. Boutros is an Honorary member of American Academy of Periodontology and active member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Academy of Osseointegration, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Christopher A. Church, MD
Diplomate, American Board of Otolaryngology

Dr. Christopher Church is Director, Loma Linda University Sinus and Allergy Center and Associate Professor, Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Loma Linda University School of Medicine.He received his medical degree in 1996, completed a general surgery internship in 1997 followed by a 4 year residency in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery from 1997-2001 all from Loma Linda University. He also completed a one year fellowship in Rhinology and Advanced Sinus Surgery at Stanford.
Dr. Church is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and has hospital appointments at Loma Linda University Medical Center, Jerry L. Pettis Memorial Veterans Affairs Medical Center and at Riverside County Regional Medical center.
He holds memberships to the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and to the American Rhinologic Society.
 
Dr. Church has specific clinical and research interests in Advanced Sinus Disease Management, Computer-Guided Sinus Surgery, Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, and Surgical correction of nasal obstructions including treatment of sleep apnea and snoring.


Frieda V. Brookshire
, DDS
MS, Prosthodontist

Dr. Brookshire earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in Loma Linda, California.
She received her Master of Science Degree in Prosthodontics at Marquette University School of Dentistry Graduate School, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As an Awardee of the 1994 National Tylman Research Grant and the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontic Research Competition, she has engaged in intensive academic studies in the fields of Implant Dentistry and Prosthodontics.
 
Dr. Brookshire is a Candidate, American Board of Oral Implantology,
an active member of the following professional organizations:

Domenico Cascione CDT, BS

Obtained his primary education in Bari (Italy), where he was also certified as a Dental Technologist (CDT) in 1985. From 1991 to 2004 he carried out metallurgy research becoming a specialist in dental metallurgy. From 1986 to 2004 he was the owner and director of Dental Laboratory in Bari (Italy). He is a Master Ceramist and also is specialized in metallurgy, implant work and complex esthetic rehabilitation. From 2005 to 2008 he was Research Associate and Program Director, Advance Training for Dental Technology at the Center for Dental Technology, the University Of Southern California School Of Dentistry.  
Since 2009 he became a Faculty Member as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University Of Southern California School Of Dentistry. He is also the Director of Case Design Center Laboratory a Division of Burbank Dental Laboratory, located in the University Village in Los Angeles California. He is a winner of award 2007 Judson C. Hichey in the research category in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry. He is author and co-author of several articles in the literature. He is also an Oral Design Center Member in Los Angeles

Saj Jivraj DDS MSEd
MS, Prosthodontist

Dr. Saj Jivraj Completed his dental degree at the University of Manchester in England in 1993 and his Advanced Prosthodontic training at the University of Southern California Dr Jivraj was former chairman section of Fixed Prosthodontics and Operative dentistry at USC School of Dentistry Currently he holds a part time faculty position as Associate Professor of Clinical Dentistry at the University of Southern California in the Advanced Prosthodontic program  
He has published on aspects of Implant Dentistry and Advanced Prosthodontics in Peer Reviewed journals He is co-author of the book Treatment Planning in Implant Dentistry which is used by students, dentists and specialists throughout the world. Dr. Jivraj has presented on aspects of Implant Dentistry and Advanced Prosthodontic procedures both nationally and internationally. He also maiantains a private practice limited to prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry in Oxnard and Long Beach CA Dr. Jivraj is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, Academy of Osseointegration, International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the Newport Harbor Academy of Dentistry.


Dr. Dal Lee

DR. Dal Lee holds a Certification in Prosthodontics from Boston University 1997-1999, and has finished a Maxi Implant course at Brookdale Hospital in New York (1999 - 2000)

Dr. Victor P. Terranova

Dr. Victor P. Terranova received his DMD from The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey,  He holds both a Masters and a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Rochester, in Rochester, New York.   At the Eastman Dental Center – University of Rochester, Dr. Terranova earned his Certificate of Specialization in Periodontology under the tutelage of Dr. Helmut A. Zander.  Dr. Terranova has held academic positions at The Revlon Biotechnology Research Center, State University of New York at Buffalo, Roswell Park Memorial Institute, Columbia University School of Physicians and Surgeons, Veterans’ Administration Medical Center, Loyola University Stitch School of Medicine and Collaborative Clinical Research.
Dr. Terranova has held academic positions at The Revlon Biotechnology Research Center, State University of New York at Buffalo, Roswell Park Memorial Institute, Columbia University School of Physicians and Surgeons, Veterans’ Administration Medical Center, Loyola University Stitch School of Medicine and Collaborative Clinical Research.
In 1995, he was the recipient of a grant from the Veterans’ Administration,  titled “Biological Interactions on Native and Modified Implant Surfaces.”  Since that time, he has devoted his research career to the cell biology of Implantology.
 
He has been the recipient of many scientific honors and has lectured internationally for more than 25 years.

Judy Wagner, Phlebotomy - PRP Program
Judy Wagner has worked with Dr. Al-Faraje for the past several years. Judy is the owner of Wagner Training Institute. Her institute offers a state approved Phlebotomy program.  
She is an education major, has worked in the medical field for over 25 years and offers her knowledge and expertise in Phlebotomy. With her superior customer service skills, Judy will work with the partcipants of the California Implant Institute to learn the art and techniques of blood drawing. She conducts all seminars with patience and understanding.  She will work with each participant on an individual basis.
 


Jennifer Bettencourt, Seminar Coordinator

Jennifer coordinates all aspects of the institute courses and will be your primary contact from the time of your registration throughout the
entire course.

Devon Wieber, Administrative Assistance
Devon has worked for Dr. Louie Al-Faraje since 2008 and is the administrative assistance for the California Implant Institute.
