The California Implant Institute was originally founded in 2001 by Dr. Louie Al-Faraje to provide quality continuing education courses for dental implants and related topics using a hands-on approach. As Director of the Institute, Dr. Louie Al-Faraje has provided dental implant training to more than 1,000 doctors in a hands-on, yearly forum of education in implantology. Dr. Al-Faraje holds Diplomate status at the American Board of Oral Implantology, Fellowship status at the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and Fellowship status at the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

The California Implant Institute offers 1 year comprehensive fellowship programs in implantology. These training programs include 4 sessions designed to provide dentists with practical information that will be immediately useful to them, their staff and their patients while performing procedures. The 4 sessions offer more than 160 combined hours of lectures, laboratory sessions and LIVE surgical demonstrations performed within the California Implant Institute facility.

The faculty of the institute is comprised of some of the most respected and recognized instructors and doctors from The United States and around the world. Our goal is to provide you with comprehensive knowledge that will both enrich your practice and improve your foundational clinical skills so you can confidently perform predictable, prosthetically driven procedures.

Whether you're just starting out or looking to enhance your existing surgical or prosthetic skills, our dental implant programs and courses are exactly what you're looking for.

We have a state-of-the-art dental implant training institute located in the heart of San Diego, California that provides a rich and productive environment for advancing the use of prosthetic and esthetic dentistry. The interior design of the center is both welcoming and professional to enhance the educational experience. Each participant's desk allows for plenty of space for both the didactic and simulated clinical aspects of the dental implant courses.

The institute uses a variety of highly technical teaching modalities that range from the use of computer animations to live video demonstrations. The programs include the use of video cameras that feed LIVE images from a variety of inputs simultaneously for the benefit of our participants. The institute's office and on-location laboratory interface with the training conference room to allow for questions and answers during the LIVE over-the-shoulder procedures and demonstrations. The video feeds include carious camera angles that capture close-up details across a broad spectrum of surgical and dental procedures.
